“A Glimpse of Franklin Parish”

The passion of Shreveport artist Darrell Chitty, who has been referred to as the “new” Old Master, is to capture the environment of the community he’s in. In his words, “True art is felt with the heart and not simply observed with the eyes…my art must be felt and not simply viewed.” Chitty takes the art of portraiture to a new level in this exhibit, the result of several months of study to capture some of the places and personalities of Franklin Parish that give this area its character. www.darrellchitty.com
