“Where Did the Day Go” — Loretta Shadow Owens

Featuring the colorful and whimsical creations by Ruston artist Loretta Shadow Owens, whose free-spirited works in both water media and oils many times cause smiles and even laughter. Loretta holds degrees from Louisiana Tech and University of Tennessee, and has studied at LSU, the University of Hawaii and Europe. “Where Did the Day Go” (based on the name of the children’s book she illustrated about the earth’s creation) is a festive collection of many of her original works, from unforgettable people and places, to pieces of spiritual joy.
